Some viruses, like the viruses that causes the flu, can change over time. you may be at increased risk for diseases based on travel plans, your job, or health conditions. Some vaccines are recommended only for adults, who are more at risk for certain diseases – like shingles. Vaccinations for adults is truly the need of the hour, with travel becoming more and more frequent and common, adult vaccination is necessary to prevent and protect against diseases that may be contracted from various other geographies. The adult immunization centre will provide knowledge about the vaccinations, make them available both at the centre and at your place of work, maintaining strict cold chain system to keep the vaccines effective. These vaccinations will provide protection for several years if not for life, against typhoid, jaundice, chicken-pox, pneumococcal infections etc. Vaccination follow-up services and recalls for booster doses will be provided. The travel clinic will cater to all travel-related health needs including mandatory vaccinations like polio, Meningococcal and recommended vaccines, tailor-made for various destinations, prophylactic medicines, advice on likely infections and health problems at the destination and point of contact in case of illness will all be provided.

We offer Outpatient Intravenous Antimicrobial Therapy (OPAT)
to patients with long-term
conditions who require intravenous fluid treatment
but are otherwise well enough not to be in the hospital.

These patients who are clinically stable may be discharged from the hospital early to an OPAT service or may avoid hospital admission altogether. This is one of the key functions of our Outpatient Clinic.
