Dr. Aruna Mohan, co-founder and Director of Dental Services at The Capstone Clinic, is celebrated for her exemplary skills as a pediatric dentist and her visionary leadership that has significantly shaped the clinic’s approach to comprehensive dental and healthcare.

Dr. Aruna completed her dental training at the prestigious Madras Dental College, University Of Madras, and pursued a residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, USA, with a full scholarship. She earned her Master’s in Pediatric Dentistry, focusing on early childhood decay, under the guidance of Dr. Norman Tinanoff. She also completed a clinical/research fellowship at the University of Connecticut and worked at the Royal London Hospital in Child Dental Health.

Returning to India, Dr. Aruna taught at Sri Ramachandra Dental College and Meenakshi Ammal Dental College, and later established the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at Tagore Dental College, Chennai. She also completed a course in Orthodontics in the USA under Progressive Orthodontics, mentored by Dr. Donald McGann.

Her highly acclaimed pediatric dental clinic, Tooth Fairy, is now integrated into The Capstone Clinic, enhancing its pediatric dentistry offerings. Dr. Aruna’s profound commitment to dental health extends beyond treating young patients; she actively educates families on thesystemic impacts of oral health, emphasizing the connections between oral health and overall physical health.

Dr. Aruna’s philosophy of care is deeply rooted in empathy and patient-centric practices, ensuring comprehensive and compassionate care for all patients. Her leadership has established a multi-specialty environment at The Capstone Clinic that fosters collaboration among healthcare professionals, allowing for a more integrated approach to patient care.
