A highly spiritual human being with great wit and humour, Dr Ramakrishnan is one of the top rheumatologists in India. His love and passion to help people was something he realized at a very early point in his life. Being a senior doctor at the Apollo Hospital in Chennai, his area of expertise includes treating a condition called anti-Phospholipid Antibody(APLA) related to pregnancy loss and rheumatic diseases associated with Pregnancy and IGG/4 diseases.

Dr Ramakrishnan says that the concept of rheumatology is “an orphaned one”, and not many people are aware of it, which is why they go for alternative forms of medicine to treat themselves and are therefore not 100% cured. He believes that there is a growing need for more rheumatologists and opening this speciality at The Capstone Clinic will go a long way in filling this gap.
