Dr Ilavarasan is a Gold Medalist in D.Ortho from Sri Ramachandra University, and is also an MABMS Member of Association of Biomedical Scientists awarded by Indian Association of Biomedical Scientists. He has presented many papers including functional analysis of ankle and foot after Tendo Achilles repair and early rehabilitation in Indo German Orthopaedic Foundation (IGOF) in Mumbai, functional analysis of ankle and foot after TA repair and early rehabilitation in Tamil Nadu Orthopaedic Association Conference in Chennai and Frekel’s Bipolar release for Torticollis in Tamilnadu Orthopaedic Association Conference in Erode. Dr Ilavarasn has been trained in Joint Replacement Surgery in Germany and can perform Total Knee replacement and Total Hip replacement at par with international standards. He has done his Arthroscopy training in Korea and operates on sports injuries using minimally invasive keyhole surgery. He has also completed his fellowship in Japan in Revision Joint replacement and can reconstruct failed and complex joint disorders. He has worked for all top hospitals in Chennai, has more than 15 years of experience in the field of orthopaedics, with an impressive track record of 2000 successful surgeries.
